She began writing poetry at eleven years old as a means of self expression and a way to relieve herself of suppressed emotions. Many years would pass before she developed confidence in her work and began sharing her poetry with others. Since then she has written numerous articles for online publication, won several writing contests and uses her writing abilities to create her own personalized greeting cards.
